Two News Articles & A Revealing Photo

Well, not that revealing… and not too much today, except for a few lost gems.

First of all, we get another view of Joy’s car, as well as what looks to be the cops standing around near some evidence, as a curio or stereo stand along with a big cardboard box, are seen next to the car in the garage waiting to be hauled away. I recently posted an article describing how evidence was hauled away, uncovered in the open beds of LAPD pickup trucks. Neighbors could see the blood on items. That type of careless evidence handling would haunt the LAPD in the decades to come. Imagine if Earl Hanson had spent 6 months debating evidence handling at Holmes trial, like Johnnie Cochran did for O.J. He did not need to, but we would at least have had more trial coverage and articles to read.

Sorry for the bleached out photo. The main article is below it.

The cops probably had their motive by now.

The cops probably had their motive by now.

“Neighbors said a middle-aged woman (Joy) and a young man (Ron?) lived at the house”.

I doubt they were describing Billy. His description from a male neighbor was “a guy you would see at a dive bar in El Paso”. I have never been to El POSo, but that statement sounds funny.

A female neighbor said that police had been there before due to violence.

In this short article, we see that a neighbor thought Joy and Ron were mother and son. Even at this point, the cops couldn’t seem to get their stories straight. Was it death by ax murder or by gun shot?
